He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Patterson and Clara Corinne Neely Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Christine Patterson; his children, Cheryl Vallance (Debbie Stafford), Angela Bolduc (Jason), Kasi Payne (Mark), Gary Vallance (Lena), Douglas Vallance (Cindy Kahle) and James Patterson; and his sisters, Gena Mae Smith and Nancy Patterson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
