He was predeceased by: his parents, Dempsey Lovell and Antate Lovell (Wallace); his wife Judy Butler Lovell; and his siblings, Jack Lovell, Billy Lovell, Charles Buford Lovell, Corrine Chambers and Joyce Malone.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Lovell, Mandy Wilson (Marty) and Callie Oppman (Brad); his grandchildren, Rachel Bush (Randy), Emily Kate Hardiman (Patrick), Sally Childers (Nathan), Sara Daniel (Nick), Alex Oppman (Maddie), Andrew Oppman and William Lovell (Payton); and his siblings, Larry Lovell (Debbie), Dimple Barlow (Gerald), Faye Pugh and Donna Cancel (Ivan). He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Affinity Hospice.
