It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marion Mason of Leroy, Alabama, born in Lucedale, Mississippi, who passed away on July 24, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Mason and Evelyn Mason; his former wives, Esther Seals Mason and Ruth Atchinson Mason; and his brothers, Lyman Perry Mason and Aaron "Sonny" Mason.

He is survived by: his wife Eloise McCloskey Mason; his children, Donald Mason (Jacinta), Ronald Mason and Terri Parnell (Don); his grandchildren, Nikki Drinkard (John), Miranda Beech (Schyler), Tony Mason (Meagan), Jennifer Taylor (Chris) and BJ Garrick (Mindy); his daughter-in-law Ramona Mason; his siblings-in-law, Jean Drinkard, Erlean Holley (Overtis), Johnnie Seals and Earl Seals (Alvidean); and his stepchildren, Linda Blanton (Mike), Mike Gwin (Marilyn) and Debbie Simmons (Lee). He is also survived by twelve step-grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
