With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glan Rawls of Leroy, Alabama, born in Red Level, Alabama, who passed away on November 11, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Rawls and Merlie Gorum Rawls; his son Glan Rawls, Jr.; his grandson Stephen Clay Carpenter; his great grandchild Aiden Grey Duke; his son-in-law Stephen Ray Carpenter; and his brother Jack Rawls.

He is survived by: his wife Jane Rawls; his daughters, Jo Roxanne Rawls and Tracey Carpenter Roney (James); his grandchildren, Morgain Elizabeth Carpenter Garrett (John Jacob), Julian Grey Carpenter (Danielle Marie), Raechel Jane Bosarge (Calvin) and William Taylor Rawls Carpenter (Katherine Elizabeth Ott); his great grandchildren, Lilly Jane Carpenter, Julian Grey Carpenter, Evan William Galan Garrett, Jack Avery McDaniel Garrett, Grant Elijah Jacob Garrett and Calvin "Tripp" Bosarge, III; his stepgrandsons, James Henry Roney and Jon Hunter Roney; and his brother Dwight Rawls. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
