He is survived by: his children, Latasha Marie Magee (Bryson) of Lake Dallas and Lamaar Merrill Pernell of Temple, Texas; his siblings, Lula Mae Jackson (James) of Leroy, Samson Ervin Sr. (Elder Carrie) of Leroy, Louis Ervin of Leroy, Marilyn Williams (Timothy) of McIntosh, Willie Ervin Sr. of McIntosh and Lola Jean Ervin of Mobile; his nephew Willie Daffin Sr.; and his friends, Virginia Savage, John Tarver and Tracy Tarver. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friend.
