He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Powell; his children, James VanDee (Jessica), Jacob VanDee (Allison) and Joy Burris (Brandon); his siblings, William Edward Powell (Beth), Cornelia Powell and Sallie Brown (Michael); and his grandchildren, Maggie, Emma, Marley, Hudson, Sarah Beth, Bethel, Kayden, Aria, Daniella and Julia. He is also survived by his family, friends.
