He is survived by: his wife Sarah Ayers; his children, Gabriel Ayers, Joseph Ayers, Zaelea Ayers and Brian Ayers; his stepfather Curtis Woodyard; his grandmothers, Betty O'Hara and Wyoline Woodyard; his siblings, Amber Baugh and Brett Ayers (Kristin); his nephew Brennen Ayers; his niece Brooklynn Ayers; his parents-in-law, Laird Culver and Rebecca Culver; his sister-in-law Rachael Culver; and his mother Debbie Lee Baugh.

He and his family returned to Columbia, SC in the middle of a pandemic and happily reunited with friends.
