She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy Peebles; her parents, Coy Gunn and Willie Mae Gunn; her siblings, Dorothy Peebles and Lonnie Ray Gunn; and her half-brother Wilton Ledkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Tony Peebles (Rhonda) of Robinsonville, AL, Darin Peebles of Bratt, FL and Phillip Peebles (Cynthia) of Andalusia, AL. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
