With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Houston Stanford of Lenox, Alabama, who passed away on October 21, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Stanford and Willie Dyess Stanford; and his siblings, Calvin, Lloyd Stanford and Elsie Cain.
He is survived by: his wife Melba Bartlett Stanford of Lenox; his children, Hank Stanford (Tammy) of Castleberry, Rev. Barbara Green (Jerry) of Range and Mendy Wiggins (Kelly) of Sterlington, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Brooke Hutto, Josh Wiggins and Josie Wiggins; his great grandchild Dalton Hutto; and his siblings, Floyd Stanford, Stevie Stanford, Doug Stanford, Voncile Thomas, Idell Richerson and Debra Lee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
