He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Abernathy, Sr. and Lucille King Abernathy; his son Tarrant Abernathy; and his brothers, John Abernathy and Earnest Mullins.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Robinson Abernathy; his daughters, Katrina Abernathy of North Babylon and Angela Strong (Walter) of North Babylon; his stepchildren, Amber Robinson, Maurice Robinson-Muscle (Autumn) and Demarcus Robinson (Caroline); his grandchildren, Kayden Abernathy and Aniya Strong; his children, Jayden Hice of Leighton, AL and Alyssa Robinson of Leighton, AL; his siblings, Mary Gilbert (Servon), Lucy Bowman (Wayne), George Abernathy (Reba), Leo Abernathy, Jr. and Donald Abernathy (Shelia); his siblings-in-law, Sigglees Abernathy, James Robinson and Anthony Robinson (Vicky); his brother David Ray Houston; his nieces, Christel Wilson, Candace Robinson and Ryeshia Koger; and his uncle Willie West.
