It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Dale Ashmore of Leighton, Alabama, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly McKenzie Ashmore; and his parents, Ruth Addline Brown and Kenneth Dale Ashmore. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, with two great grandchildren expected in 2024, one sister, two nieces, and five nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Children's Hospital of Alabama, Birmingham, Alabama.
