She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Goodwin and Wash Goodwin; her daughter Lois White; her siblings, Hilla Ricks, Oscar Goodwin, Jessie Goodwin, Charlie Goodwin, Annie Bee Hayley, Sally Mae Newsome, Camila Owens and Inez Smith; and her daughter-in-law Vornesteen Ricks.
She is survived by: her children, Sadie Harden (Willie) of Leighton, Alabama, Clark, Robert Lee Goodwin (Elois) of Muscle Shoals, Charles Goodwin of Sheffield and Bobby Joe Goodwin (Georgia) of Florence, Alabama; her grandchildren, Ashley, Lisa Harden, Marilyn Bailey, Greg Ricks, Wayne Madden, Eric Ricks, Anthony White, Charles Jr., Tiffany Goodwin, Kim Goodwin, Kristy Goodwin and Robert Goodwin; her sister Dora Hall of Kenosha, Wisconsin; and her close friend Marilyn Seals. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
