She was predeceased by: her parents, Ola Mae West and Mote Ricks; her son Emmitt Ricks; and her brother Willie Frank West. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Qualls, Elizabeth Denton (Norris), Regina D, David Ricks, Sr. (Lisa) and Alvin Bernard Ricks (Tonya); her godchildren, Rev. Omega, Diane Smith and Harlan Peaches Winston (Linda); her stepgreat-grandchild Javien Davis; and her close friends, Willie Ann Mayes of Leighton, Tosha Holt of Leighton, Brenda Madden of Leighton, Mattie Perkins of Leighton, Mary Ricks of Leighton and Ray Fuqua of Leighton. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, four step grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren.
