He is survived by: his sons, Michael Brent Scott and Matthew Blake Nix; his sisters, Anna Nix Swindle, Dianece Nix Hollingsworth and Diane Nix Crosswhite; and his grandchildren, Hayden Michael Scott and Harper Rose Nix. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
