She was predeceased by: her husband Jay Hairston; her son Dewayne Hairston; and her parents, Marion Burt and Ada White Burt. She is survived by: her children, Andy, Ed Hairston and Dianne Duncan. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, special nieces and nephews.
