She was predeceased by: her husband Van Oliver Ford; her siblings, Charles Hale, William Hale, Kenneth Hale, Lamar Hale, Carolyn Chandler, Dovey Arther, Katie Roberts, Betty Lawson and Elsie Barrow; and her parents, Lorenzo Dow and Frieda Annie Hale.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Ford and Van A. Ford (Alicia); her grandchildren, Michelle Hart and Austin Ford (PJ); and her great grandchildren, Sophie Hart and Ellie Ford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, loved ones and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Perry Funeral Home (1611 Clarence E Chesnut Jr Bypass, Centre, AL 35960). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery. A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at the same location.
