He was predeceased by: his mother Flora Keener Sr.; and his siblings, Jerry Kenner, Danny Vaughn, Betty Jo Woods and Ruby Stallings.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Keener; his daughter Lori Battles (Mark); his siblings, Larry Keener, Terry Mack Keener and Joyce Barrett; his grandchildren, Dru Handy, Daxter Handy (Sarah) and Anna Cate Whaley; and his great grandchildren, LJ Handy and Hadley Ray Morris. He is also survived by several Nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Perry Funeral Home (1611 Clarence E Chesnut Jr Bypass, Centre, AL 35960). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery (Tabor Rd, Alabama).
The family request no flowers and donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
