He was predeceased by: his son Brad Bevels; his siblings, Buddy Bevels, Audrey Rhinehart and Alma Henry; and his parents, Hoke Bevels and Phora Nicholson Bevels.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Summerlin Bevels; his son Corey Paul Bevels of Piedmont; his stepsons, Alan Benefield (Rhonda) of Centre and David Williamson (Melinda) of Centre; his daughters, Kim Benefield of Leesburg and Cheyenne Parrish; and his siblings, Milton Bevels (Linda) of Alexander, Billy Mack Bevels (Dewanna) of Sand Rock, Hoke Bevels (Barbara) of Piedmont, Bonnie Bachelor of Centre, Alice Hulsey of Sand Rock, Vicia Rhinehart (Frank) of Centre and Host. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
