He is survived by: his wife Lisa Spang; his son Anthony Spang (Robin); his grandson Colin Newman; and his siblings, James Spang, Norman Spang (Leslie), Donald Spang (Irina), Linda Everidge, Rose Lischke, Theresa Lischke (Bob) and Carolyn Howick (Craig). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
