With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John McCleskey of Leesburg, Alabama, born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on February 4, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard McCleskey and Mildred McCleskey. He is survived by: his wife Janis McCleskey; his son Matt McCleskey; and his brother Robert "Bob" McCleskey.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Shady Grove Cemetery Fund.
