It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Keener of Leesburg, Alabama, born in Cherokee, Alabama, who passed away on March 23, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sisters, Bettye Woods and Ruby Stallings; and his parents, R. C. Keener and Flora Ester Hendrix Keener. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Hawkins Keener; his son Patrick Duane Keener (Allison); his siblings, Larry Keener (Betty), Terry Mack Keener (Lynn), Randall Keener (Joyce) and Joyce Barrett; and his granddaughters, Abby Paige Keener, Laura Lee Keener and Ann Margaret Keener. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bothwell United Methodist Church or to the Shiloh Bothwell Cemetery fund.
