He is survived by: his wife Helen Pettus; his children, Heath Pettus and Connie Bedford (Darrell); his sister Jeanette McCard (Vernon); and his grandchildren, Corey Rollins (Kaitlyn), Chelsea Hyatt (Wesley), David Pettus and Bethany Pettus.
