Though Donald Odes may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald Odes touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his son Steven Hamilton; and his parents, York Burgess and Wanda Duncan Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Burgess; his children, Donald Dotson, Danny Dotson, Jason Hamilton and Kandi Sanford; and his brothers, Terry Burgess, Stanley Burgess, Tony Burgess and Jimmy Burgess. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
