He is survived by: his wife Jewel Rains; his children, Johnny Rains (Jill), Valarie Hargett and Sandy Phillips (Garry); his sister Brenda Renfroe (Preston); his daughter Pam Sexton Butler; his siblings, John Lewis Rains, Franklin Leon Rains, Richard Rains, Lena Jackson and Ellen Naugher; and his grandsons, Darren Johnson, Derek Rains, Luke Rains, Kevin Rains, Brevyn Rains Phillips and Sawyer Rains. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
