She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Allen; her sons, Steven and Gregory; her siblings, James, Alfred, Ethel, Colline and Louise; and her son-in-law Marcus Hawkins.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Hawkins of Gadsden, AL, Gloria Allen of Gadsden, AL, Bernice Garrett of Gadsden, AL, Sallie Allen of Gadsden, AL, Linda Matthews of Gadsden, AL, Cephus Allen of Gadsden, AL and Jessie Allen; and her close friends, Hattie Whitaker, Helen Clifton, Margaret McElrath, Lena Green and Irene Dupree. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren.
