He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Winslett; his children, Allie Winslett, David Winslett (Amber), Jon and Evan Winslett; his father Virgil Winslett Sr.; his brother Wayne Winslett (Christina); and his grandchildren, Katie Winslett and Charley Winslett.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Springville High School Virgil Winslett Scholarship Fund.
