As Thomas departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Thomas leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgia Tierce and William Thomas Tierce; and his sister Elizabeth Browning. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Tierce; and his children, Heather Abney, Audra Schoenman, Laura Mahler (Marc) and Dennis Bolton (Lesleigh). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; and one on the way and niece.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kilgroe Funeral Home (1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, AL 35094). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at the Bold Springs Cemetery.
