With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sheryl May of Leeds, Alabama, who passed away on June 30, 2020 at the age of 44. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James Futrell; her grandparents, Lonnie and Effie Rodgers; and her uncles, Charles and Lonnie Rodgers.
She is survived by: her husband Jerell May; her sons, LaDarius M. Rodgers, Alexander Walker and Kenya Rodgers; her grandsons, Bryson, Braxton, Zaydin and Kingston; her mother Essie Brown; and her siblings, Takema Rodgers of Leeds, AL, Keena R. of Washington, James H of Boston, MA, Andre Brown of Boston, MA and Joshua Brown of Boston, MA. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She served faithfully until the church was temporary closed due to the pandemic.
