He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayden Bartee and Laura Bartee. He is survived by: his wife Christy Jackson Bartee; his children, Lillian Ross Bartee and Jackson Moore Bartee; his brother Mitchell Lee Bartee (Rena); and his nieces and nephews, Katherine Bartee, Ella Jackson, Olivia Jackson, Hayden Bartee and Houston Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Leeds Quarterback Club, c/o Leeds High School, 1500 Greenwave Drive, Leeds, AL 35094.
