He was loved and cherished by many people including: his adoptive parents, Clarence C. Skelton and Mary E. Skelton of Cahaba Heights, AL.; his daughter Christy D. Walton; his wife Lou Ann Skelton; his daughters, Shannon Renae Skelton and Laura Michelle Smiley; and his grandchildren, Wyatt Raymond Smiley, Alaina Grace Smiley, Ryan Grinstead and Matthew Walton.
