He was predeceased by: his brothers, Dean Davis, Michael Davis and Gordie Davis; his stepsiblings, Butch Wood and Sue Wood; and his parents, William Dillard Davis and Virginia Wood.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Le Dieux; his children, Greg Davis (Christin) and Cindy Jessup; his siblings, Joyce Wise, Candy Hale (Sandy), Charlene Hinton (Freddie) and Ronnie Davis (Phyllis); his grandchildren, Cameron Jessup, Ben Jessup, Alli Jessup, Owen Davis and Drew Davis; his uncle Don Davis (Conda); and his cousin Donna Brasher.
