He is survived by: his wife Sarah Dempsey; his children, Susan Towery (Jerry), Kimberly Walden, Jeff Dempsey (Laura) and Lee Dempsey, Jr.; his grandchildren, Joshua Towery, Ryan Dempsey, John Franklin, Venessa Layfield, Elisha Layfield, Aaron Morris and Justin Morris; and his great grandchildren, Ozie Rodriguez and Leo Rodriguez.
