We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2021, at the age of 68, Michael L. Brooks of Leeds, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Jefferson Brooks; his brother Gary Brooks; and his son-in-law Teddy Upchurch. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Cagle (Joseph), Amy Herbert (Jimmy), Susan Upchurch and Jason Brooks (Misty); and his siblings, Darla Mosteller (Paul), Joy Hammond (Jim), Cathy Spence and Tom Brooks (Brenda). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

"A private family remembrance will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if you desire, donations in Mike's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.".
