She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Brasher and Jewel Brasher. She is survived by: her children, Suzanne McDevitt (Mike), Regina F. Pregge (Cliff) and Mark Freeman (Sandi); her sister Mary Frances Clay; her grandchildren, Andrea (Steven), Ashley, Jenna and Michael; her great grandchildren, Steven "Bear", Aiden, Cameron, Tanner and Mara; her niece Alice Scheneker; and her nephew Mike Skinner To.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Leeds First United Methodist Church Back Pack Buddies in Leeds, Alabama or the Food Pantry at New Hope Baptist Church in Pell City, Alabama.
