Lenora Summerlin Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lenora Summerlin (Leeds, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 23, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Lenora departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lenora may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lenora leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her husband Claud Summerlin; her granddaughter Brittney George; and her sister Peggy Holifield. She is survived by: her son David Summerlin (Donna); her granddaughter Alyssa Hare (Trent); her great grandchildren, Dyllan Hare and Charlie Hare; and her sister Lynn Wisenant.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home (1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, AL 35094).
