He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred E. Horton and Ethelene Horton; and his brother Elvin Horton (Frances). He is survived by: his wife Edith "Honey" Horton; his children, Lisa Horton Messner (Jeff), Larry Thomas Horton, Jr. (Regina) and Lynn Horton (Stacy); his grandchildren, Hunter Horton, Harlie St. John (Robert), Jorden Messner, Taylor Messner (Renee), Jacob Messner, Bailey Horton and Mallory Horton; his great grandchild Ella Grace Horton; and his sisters, Faye Atkins and Ann Resha.
