Joyce Marie Payne Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Marie Payne of Leeds, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellery Carlton and Lillian Brasher; her husband Donald Payne; her children, Rickey Green and Tina Tuttle; and her grandson Benjamin Weldon.
She is survived by: her daughter Pam Weldon (Glenn); her son-in-law Robert Tuttle; her grandchildren, Heather Perryman (Jared), Nathan Tuttle, Ashley Tuttle and Amber Allen (Mitch); and her great grandchildren, Montana Allen, Rafe Allen, Chloe Perryman and Connor Perryman. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Kilgroe Funeral Home (1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, AL 35094). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions could be made to UMDF (United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation) and SOCAT Animal Rescue (Saving One Creature At a Time).
