It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie L. Kerr (Leeds, Alabama), born in Vincent, Alabama, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hughie F. Morgan and Mae Belle Morgan; her husband Walter L. Kerr; her son Allen Lynn Kerr; her siblings, Betty Joe Watkins, Ethel Elizabeth Morgan, Billy Hughie Morgan and Harold Benney Morgan; and her grandchildren, Jamie Parker and Danielle Parker.

She is survived by: her sons, Walter Lee, Jr. (Hilga) and Rickey Wayne; her granddaughter Frances Regina Coupland (Jeanie); her daughter Jeanie Coupland (Mike); her daughter-in-law Stacey Kerr; her sister Frances Tice; her grandchildren, Leighanne Riner (Clint), Grant Kerr (Kellie), David Kicklighter (Allison), Kristin Zovich (Tom), Mandy Baughn (Scott), Emily Bell (Demarcus), Ginger Gilbert (Jeremy), Beverly Armstrong (Alex) and Whitney Hale (Chris); her sister-in-law JoAnn McClellan (L. B.); and her nieces and nephews, Butch and Melea Lambert. She is also survived by twenty five Great-Grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to: Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Backpack Buddies of St. Clair Co., or New Life Baptist Church, Odenville, AL, in memory of Johnnie.
