He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Patterson; his children, Richard Eric Patterson (Nancy) and Jeanne Patterson Gallagher (Conor); his grandchildren, Matthew Gallagher, Kyndal Grace Patterson, Jacob Gallagher and Holden Patterson; his sister Margaret Murrill; and his friends, Virginia Spidle, Kim Patterson, Austin Anderson, Ashley Anderson, Cathy Puckett, Ricky Patterson, Jerry Patterson and Meona King.
