She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Henson and Myrtle Henson; her brother Roland Henson; and her brothers-in-law, Gary Brasher and Larry Massey.

She is survived by: her husband Horace Black; her children, Steven Black (Andrea) and Leigh Ann Smith (Patrick); her grandsons, Connor Smith, Dillon Smith, Steven Black, Jr. (Bear) and Aiden Black; and her sisters, Laura Massey and Betty Brasher. She is also survived by her nephews, and a host of nieces and great nieces.
