With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Lucas Jones of Leeds, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on December 10, 2021 at the age of 14. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Judy Burks, Earl Albin and Mike Brooks; his stepgrandmother Gene Smith; and his stepbrother Timmy Smith Jr..

He is survived by: his mother Pamela Jones; his stepfather Tim Smith; his sister Julia; his stepbrother Nicholas Smith; his grandparents, Pam Brooks and Wendal Burks; and his stepgrandfather Walton Smith. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles and cousins.
