He was predeceased by: his children, Patricia Harkins and Randy Strong. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Strong; his children, Christy Sparkman, Adam Strong, Rickey Strong and Al Brasher; and his brother Larry Strong. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Kilgroe Funeral Home (1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, AL 35094). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Crest Cemetery (5730 US-78, Birmingham, AL 35210).
