She is survived by: her husband Norman Oakes; her children, Sherryl Adkins and Jerry Oakes (Jenny); her sisters, Stella Huff and Shirley Williams; her grandson Brandon Rowell (Megan); and her great grandchildren, Jack Rowell, Emma Rowell and Charles Rowell.
