We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2019, at the age of 96, Harrel Edwards (Leeds, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Catherine Myers Edwards; his siblings, James Tommy, Edgar Fred (Jabbo), Willie Earl (Bill), Ora Lennie Edwards-Eves, Burnice Telete Edwards-Mize, Benjamin Ralph, InaBell Eugina Edwards-Forman (Mable), Robert Lee (Bud), Eva May, Walter Casey, Mary Anne, Albert Ray and Bobbie Jean; and his parents, Irene McLaughlin and James Bennet Edwards.

He is survived by: his daughter Susan Catherine Edwards Legvold (Sam) of Wetumpka, AL; his granddaughters, Mary Catherine Nobles (Timothy) and Sally Caine Leathers; and his great grandchild Lydon James Nobles.

Memorial donations may be made to Cahaba United Methodist Church.
