He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Minor; and his mother Loney Mae Minor. He is survived by: his daughters, Terresa Whitfield (Ricky), Debrah Peoples (Lance) and Reba Dorsett (Tommy); his sister Van Minor (Joy); his grandchildren, Rusty (April), Selena (Elvie), Zabrina (Kevin), Chase (Candace) and Jennifer (Ryan); and his great grandchildren, Dayton, Brooklyn, Tyler, Landon, Jake, Scotty and Grayson.
In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Leeds or Moody Fire Department for Toys for Tots in honor of Gene C. Minor.
