It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Clayton Browning (Leeds, Alabama), who passed away on November 4, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam E. Browning, Sr. and Odell Hawkins Browning; and his brothers, Jackie Browning and Sam Browning, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Jean Browning; his children, Judy White (Roland) and Ronnie Browning (Pam); his granddaughters, Jennifer Turley (Ben) and Christi Perez (John); his great grandchildren, Bailey Perry, Madilyn Miller, Amelia Perez, Caleb Perez, Bella Turley, Olivia Turley and Brooks Turley; his sisters-in-law, Phoebe Browning and Joyce Smith; and his brother Lewis Thomas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
