It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald M Payne (Leeds, Alabama), who passed away on July 8, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Payne and Charlie Payne; and his brothers, Julius, Russell, Bobby and Harold Payne.

He is survived by: his sisters, Willadean Elliott and Mildred Matthews; his stepson Rickey Green; his grandson Benjamin Weldon; his wife Joyce Brasher Payne; his stepdaughters, Pam Weldon (Glenn) and Tina Tuttle (Robert); his grandchildren, Ashley, Heather, Nathan Tuttle and Amber Allen (Mitch); his great grandchild Rafe Allen; and his sisters, Pauline Nixon, Janice Wash and Bonnie Pouncey.
