He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Thornton and Lelia Thornton; his wife Sally Thornton; and his siblings, Judy Thornton, Edwin Thornton and Larry Thornton.
He is survived by: his children, Bryce Thornton Jr. and Pamela Brown. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
