It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred James Walker (Leeds, Alabama), who passed away on December 19, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgiana Walker and George Walker; and his sisters, Evelyn Armstrong, Minnie Lee Isbell, Cleo McGuire and Billie Dement.

He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his son Byron (Anita); his stepsons, Keith Dowling (Wendy) and Derek Dowling; his grandchildren, Alex Walker, Emily Loggins (Daniel), Jade Dowling and Truman Dowling; and his siblings, Judi Hardin (Chuck), Drennen Walker (Patsy), Tommy Walker (Anita) and George Walker (Ann). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Leeds First Baptist Church.
