He is survived by: his wife Cindy Thomas Roper; his children, Brittany Tindal (Alex), Cole Roper (Heather) and Blake Roper; his grandchildren, John Austin Roper, Emily Kate Tindal, Caden Reed Tindal, Garrett Mason, Lindsey Mason, Haylee Senn and Brynley Frazier; his brother Ricky Roper (Rana); his siblings-in-law, Gary "Gooch" Thomas and Brenda Newton (Steve); his nieces, Savana Roper, Ashley Garrison (Adam), Maribeth Boyd (Ben) and Lori Ann Newton; and his nephew Josh Roper.
